Description: c. 1900s/1910s; The Columbus Show Case Co. - Columbus, OH Antique wooden showcase with glass shelves. This piece was designed and manufactured by Columbus Show Case Company, founded in 1895. Despite no longer using the former company's name, a new incarnation named CSC Worldwide took over and now manufactures grocery and retail pieces. The showcase features a darkly-stained oak frame with glass panels on all sides, including the top. Within the case are four tightly-ribbed, tempered glass shelves attached to adjustable brackets to allow for customized shelf space. The bottom is lined with a green felt or baize-type material that is believed to be original to the piece. Exhibits minor signs of wear including some scuffs and scratches, though the glass appears to be free from chips and cracks. 24" W x 24" D x 60.5" H Please refer to photos regarding condition.
