Description: Most of the items I sell are purchased from Estate Auctions or Sales, so I don't know the history or age of the piece. Feel free to message with questions prior to bidding. THIS LISTING: Framed Watercolor signed K. R. DIXON '62. Frame is 27" x 24-1/2" matted with glass. (I believe it is glass, but may be acrylic). Print showing is 16-1/2" across x 13" high. This came from my mother's estate, but probably originally from my grandmother. I was trying to research the artist and believe it is KEN DIXON. I matched his signature on published paintings where he also signed K.R. DIXON. Biography says he received a BA degree in 1965 from Drury College, which makes sense. My grandmother was a house mother at Drury College in Springfield, Mo. at about that time. His work is included in many public collections and museums. At the time of this biography, he was a Professor of Art at Texas Tech University. See pics. I believe it is in good condition, but the paper on the back is torn. Box will be oversized. I will check UPS and FEDEX price, which may be cheaper with my discount. Local pick up also available, but notify me before paying to it can be added.
