Description: Early New England Style Hand Forged Dough Scraper. Measuring 7" long, the blade is 4 3/4" wide across the edge, 2 7/8" high at the center, and this weighs 8 oz unboxed. Not signed as to the maker. This is either 18th or early 19th Century as to the age. This is in decent condition and was cleaned, and it wasn't the first time. The blade has some pitting on both sides, but the edge is fairly good. The handle also has some pitting and patina, but it's solid. This ain't the prettiest, but this style of tool are sure getting few and very far between any more. A great addition to any collection of hand forged iron work for sure! Also, I smoke a pipe, drink whiskey, both cheap and good, and cuss more in a hour than most folks do in a month. If any or all of the above bother's ya, well then we ain't got no reason to be doing business. RULES OF THE GAME 2023 EDITION - READ ME! NO BEST OFFERS I am happy to combine shipping on purchases.
