Description: On offer, we have the famous "Baudelaire With Hat" etching by Edouard Manet. This wonderful profile has the Manet monogram on the top left. At the bottom, it is printed "Peint et Grave par Manet 1862" and "Imp. A. Salmon". Thids comes in a matte with a label from Ferdinand Roten Galleries - Baltimore 2, MD. The label is "Title: Baudelaire with Hat" Medium: Original Etching Artist: Edouard Manet (1832-1883)". The etching measures 4" X 3 1/4". It is in a neutral woven paper 11" X 9 1/2". The matte measures 14" X 11". This print is in excellent condition. It is bold, clear and clean. It is slightly wrinkled. The paper has a folded over end with pencil writing "Manet Baudelaire With Hat. 40-337 C-ol". I'm not sure why that is there.
