Description: EDWARDIAN SAMPSON MORDAN MINIATURE SILVER CHICK PIN CUSHION 1906 A really lovely Edwardian Chester silver pin cushion in the form of a little chick hatching out of an egg. Fully hallmarked for Chester, with the date letter 'F' for 1906. It also has the maker's mark S M & Co for the excellent silversmith, Sampson Mordan. It also has a registration number and the lion passant for sterling silver. It measures just 3cm x 2cm and weighs 9.2g. It is in good condition with just wear consistent with the age of the item, which is to be expected as it is almost 120 years old. It has no holes or cracks. The hallmarks are clear and easy to read.
