By design, this is a manual focus lens.The focal length of this lens is twice that of the standard 50mm lens that comes on 16mm Eiki projectors. The longer focal length is useful in situations where a longer distance between the projector and screen is desired. This would be especially useful for xenon projectors that have lamp power to project longer distances.PLEASE NOTE:This lens will not give a larger picture! It will actually be a small picture than the 50mm would provide at the same distance. If you are looking for a way to increase the size of the image on the screen, you need a shorter focal length lens. Again, the purpose of this lens is to create a longer distance between the screen and projector.This lens is also used in anamorphic projection.
