Description: Up for sale is just about everything you need to go Deep Dropping! The reel is a Penn 114HLW or 6/0Wide High Speed and the drive is the 620XP Elec-tra-mate. Both the reel and the electric drive have been completely torn down and serviced for this sale. The drive was rewired. A new cord and battery clamps were installed on the drive as well. The reel has 80lb mono backing and 700 yards of brand new 80lb Beyond Braid. (Fantastic braid made down here in Miami) I’ve included 2 Deep Drop rigs, a water activated disco light, and a 5lb lead. “Just mount the reel on your favorite Deep Drop rod, add some bait and go catch some sea monsters!” The rigs I included are the ones I personally make to fish down here in South Florida and they work amazing for Grouper, Golden Tilefish, Snapper and just about any deep water fish. After years of Deep Dropping I have found this combination to work best. The Grouper/Golden Tilefish rig is a 3 hook rig made of straight 300lb Momoi Mono, Momoi Crimps, 11/0 Mustad Circle Hooks, 300lb combination 3way swivels, 300lb Krok snap swivel that the lead attaches to and glow in the dark quids. The snapper rig is a 4 hook rig made of straight 200lb Momoi Mono, Momoi Crimps, 8/0 Gamakatsu Circle Hooks, 300lb combination 3way swivels, 300lb Krok snap swivel that the lead attaches to and about 2” of glow in the dark tubing. I also make the leads. It’s right around 5lbs and it’s coated with Flex Seal so you don’t have to worry about touching the raw lead.
