ESP , which received a request from Toshihiko Takamizawa to "make a Doraemon guitar," is a guitar maker that specializes in custom-made guitars, having previously made modified guitars such as the Angel Guitar for Takamizawa. Since the request for a Doraemon guitar involves the use of a copyrighted character, ESP decided on the design after extensive discussions with the various companies related to Doraemon ( Fujiko Pro, Shogakukan, and TV Asahi ) and went on to make the guitar (first generation model). The one actually used by Takamizawa was a special model, with the entire body carved into a three-dimensional shape and the materials, parts, and decoration were all expensive, so this was modified to make it more suitable for the general public, and the first model was sold in a limited production of 200 units. This Doraemon guitar is the second model , released on November 9 , 2005 as a collaboration guitar with ESP Doraemon. There are three generations of Doraemon guitars, and the most popular model is this second generation Doraemon guitar. *The original Doraemon guitar was designed based on the manga version of Doraemon, but this instrument is designed based on the anime version of Doraemon, so it looks completely different and cute, and it even has the Doraemon logo and bell lined up on the head. Furthermore, two strap pins have been added to the back of the body, which were not available on the original, making it easier to play while standing.
