Fender Vintage Series '52 Telecaster 1982 Butterscotch Blonde. This is the introduction of the Vintage Series. Although it is generally said that sales began in 1982, popular models such as the '52 Telecaster began production in 1981. When it acquired this unit, it was already heavily reliced in real life, and it had such a presence that I doubted it was a genuine '52 model for a moment. The bridge plate with the four-digit serial engraved on it had been changed to a 6-way saddle type, but the neck end has a "VINTAGE" stamp that can only be found in the very early days of the Vintage Series, and the pot date is engraved with the 34th week of 1981 (September). The lightweight ash body and maple neck have a very thin lacquer with weather checking all over, and after 42 years, it is no exaggeration to say that this is the real thing. The large R of the body edge, the sharp corners of the neck edge, and the narrow spacing of the 12th fret position marks are all characteristics of this first year of the Vintage Series, when perfect copies have not yet been made. The only change is the 6-way bridge plate. And since the pickguard was missing when it got, it installed a relic-processed black guard. There are many small marks and discoloration on the metal parts. There is a marks on the front of the body and a black rubber-like line. It tried not to erase it too much because it might affect the paint. The back of the neck and the bottom of the body have melted lacquer. There are two tape marks on the back of the body. The endpin continues to the front. There is a cigarette burn mark on the head. The decal on the painted surface is cracked, and the last "" in "TELECASTER" has peeled off.
