Description: Elite Works Limoges Multicolor Floral Raised Gold Green & Gold 7 7/8 Inch Plate Nice antique French porcelain plate with relief molded scrollwork edge. Decorated with pink, yellow, and blue flowers over a white center. Has a green fading to ivory border with raised gold floral sprigs. Heavy clouded / sponged gilding along the edge. Marked on the reverse with Limoges France with an arrow in green. This mark was used by Laviolette in Limoges France between 1896 and 1905. Also marked on the reverse in red Elite Limoges France. This is an overglaze decorating mark used by Bawo & Dotter in Limoges France between 1896 and 1900. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. Measures approximately 7 7/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
