Yet, to hear this music, a half century after it was recorded – now wiped of overdubs – reveals some of the most compelling singing of Presley’s career. There may not be a better set of tracks in his catalogue that benefits more from un-dubbing the masters. No longer weighted down, Elvis shines. This release comes in the run up to highly anticipated projects coming in 2022: - Baz Luhrman’s biopic titled Elvis; a biographical musical drama film about the King himself. Release date currently 3rd June 2022. - Agent King - an upcoming adult animated action-comedy Netflix series created by Priscilla Presley and John Eddie, with an Elvis track prominently featuring in each episode.
