Description: This is the original third issue of Embroidery, published by the Embroiderers' Guild (UK). We also have the first, second and eighth issue listed, this publication is still being published in 2021. Softcover, June 1933, Volume I, Number 3. 24 pages, good condition for it's age, has been stored. The Embroidery Magazine is produced by the Embroiderer's Guild (London) and began publication in 1932. The pages of each issue contain a wealth of historical information celebrating embroidery's rich heritage, as well as covering s variety of other handwork techniques. Many of the finest embroideries in the world are in the collection of the Embroiderer's Guild and some are the basis for articles in the publication. The older issues are in black and white, the newer ones progressed to color. The issues all contain advertisements related to needlework as well and are quite interesting and entertaining in themselves. We've come a long way, but we're still tied to the past by our love of needlework and these magazines show an appreciation of that love. The table of contents is shown in the pictures. The magazines are in used condition and may show signs of use and wear. We've been sorting through boxes and bins of various other things that have been stored for quite some time. We've found charts, threads, fabrics, needlework accessories, as well as cat related items, gifts and other items. We also have recently been given a household full of some very lovely, interesting and unusual things which I'll be listing for sale. All proceeds from the sale will benefit P.A.W.S.
