Since 1961, the legendary Casino has been Epiphone's best-selling archtop and rock and roll standard. First introduced in 1961, the Casino was just one of a number of thin archtops designed and produced at the company's then Kalamazoo, Michigan, factory and shared with former competitor and new partner Gibson. The Casino was then first employed by Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones, who used the Casino to record a demo of "Satisfaction" at Chess Records in Chicago. Howlin' Wolf took the Casino on its first tour of the UK and appeared on Thank Your LuckyStars. Shortly thereafter, John Lennon and George Harrison took the Casino for the Beatles 1966 World Tour. This semi-acoustic-sized, full-acoustic construction features a 5-ply maple body with basswood top brace and dog-ear P-90T Classic pickups. Gibson scale Neck and Vintage style pegs are used.
