Description: A 1983 serigraph by the father of Art Deco, Erte. This is a large, gorgeous piece that looks like it came directly off of the gallery wall. The image is the profile of a woman of undoubtedly Erte style standing/sitting/lounging under a blossoming tree in the springtime. She looks downward at a butterfly as the shadows of the tree dance upon her arm. It is signed by Erte to the lower right hand side and hand numbered on the lower left in Roman numerals. It is number 98/125. The piece was printed by Chromacomp, New York and does include the Certificate of Tirage. Honestly, my amateur photographer skills do not do the piece justice. This is very vibrant with it's gold and orange and really makes a statement. It is professionally framed and double matted and other than maybe an ever so slight mark on the outer frame from normal usage, is in excellent condition like it was just produced yesterday! It is also not one of Erte's images that you see up for sale all the time!
