Description: This is a Silver coloured cased pendant / charm made from a Portuguese 2.5 ESCUDO coin. The earliest is from 1963, latest from 1985 and feature a Caravel which was used extensively for trade and exploration of the African coast from the 15th century. All my coins have been in circulation so may show some minor imperfections but they are in very good condition with fine detail. They are highly polished to a mirror finish and then lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The clasp & ring are Silver plated and the Curb chain is Chromed Steel. The pendant case is Silver plated with a fluted edge and plain back. The diameter is 28 mm, height 36 mm. The photos are for display purposes only so may not show your chosen year.
