Eton Silverplated Ornate Victorian Footed Teapot 8-1/2" Tall

Description: Beautiful ornate Victorian style Eton silverplated footed teapot with lid. The base of this has a faded label that is likely concealing the maker marks. Our best speculation is that this was sold by Eton Silver Company out of Glendale, New York. This company was noted as an importer active in the 1960's and 70's so we cannot state where the item was manufactured. Many of the Eton pieces similar to this were often labeled "Eton Heavy Lifetime Guarantee Silverplate"; we think that this is what the faded label would have stated. At the time of listing this item we have the matching serving tray, coffee pot and the creamer and sugar set listed in separate listings. The lid fits snugly; it has separated from the working hinge. We do note that there is an area around one leg where it affixes to the pot that has some white and green corrosion discoloration. The interior does show signs of wear from use. Good used condition (see further details below). We have described the silverplate and .925 sterling silver items that we list to the best of our knowledge.
