Description: The items offered here are a pair of pencil-signed greeting/Christmas cards. They each have lovely raised seasonal designs around the margins. I believe the images are offset lithographs; I don't believe they are actual etchings. However, each card is titled in the left below the image and signed in pencil to the right by the artist that created the image on the card: Eugene Veder and Marcel Augis. Eugene Veder (1876-1936) was a well-known French printmaker. He specialized in images of Paris; in this case, he has provided a beautiful image of Notre Dame in the snow. Marcel Augis was an itinerant French artist who created numerous landscape images in France after being mobilized (as was Veder) in WWI. The image in the card offered here is entitled "The Snow Covered Trough". These cards are from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Unless noted otherwise in the description, the prints, art and other items that I sell are not "reproductions". Please check my other listings for additional items of interest. I will combine shipping.
