It is in oval, with a fresh crisply but painterly brush strokes. Everything about it exudes beauty and appeal. The artist is well represented, with a variety of looks, many more austere and Germanic. He does have a couple I could find that have the same genre painting feel to it, with no hint of darkness anywhere. One particularly is one of a young girl that must have been painted in 1927 labeled as Portrat eines Madchens, but the information is locked. However, if you look at the picture it becomes obvious that these were painted by the same person. Note that this is a tricky shipping job. I also offer local pickup free.
