Smooth, layered knife and brushwork, borrowing-replicating ancient artworks from Greco-Roman times, depicting a what appears to be a Goddess with some ancient architectural details visible in the background. Looks fairly new, we estimate circa 1990s-early 2000s, with artist's signature at the lower right corner. Measurements with frame are about 21" x 25", the painting itself is 16" x 20". Overall in excellent condition, everything considered. Minor wear is visible on the frame, however nothing stands out. Heavy discolouration and spotting is present on the surrounding mat and in the back of the canvas, which is consistent with old and ageing oil paintings. More artwork is coming soon.
