Description: Original tintype showing a man holding his deceased boy in his lap. A special post mortem photo. The room and background were dark, so the image has a darker look to it, but all details of the man and boy's face are visible, it's just that the darker parts of their clothing sort of blend into the dark background. I have added a scan and a cell phone picture, taken under a desktop lamp.. looks at least this good viewed in full daylight. Tintype is in very good or better antique condition. 4" x 2.5".
