However, the meditation mats are not designed for standing stretching poses, so you will need to step onto a floor for that. Using a yoga mat can be very useful and beneficial for your health, there is a huge potential for bacteria and germs so if you are not using a mat you are exposing yourself to anything and everything that other people may have.
