The "Deluxe Jazz Bass V Kazuki Arai Edition" was produced in limited quantities in 2021 as a signature model of Kazuki Arai, bassist of King Gnu and millennium parade, The new version has a more familiar specification and is now available as a regular product in the line-up. The original neck shape and dinky shape of the body, which Kazuki Arai was very particular about, are combined with Ultra Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass pickups and a state-of-the-art pre-amp on the electric part, which means that the playability and sound quality of the previous model has been carried over. The sound quality and playability are inherited from the previous model. It is available in black and features the gold anodised pickguard that was previously available for this model. Also, as a specification not found on the previous model, a thinner pickguard of approximately 1.0 mm is inserted under the 1.2 mm thick gold anodised pickguard, which looks and feels just as good as the 3-ply pickguard. The neck plate is engraved with a signature made especially for this model. A plain neck plate is also included in this model, which is packed with Kazuki Arai's commitment to deliver this model not only to fans but also to all bass players.
