FENDER PRECISION BASS 1974 DEFINISHED NATURAL P BASS signed by BILLY SHEEHAN!

Description: _____________________________________________________________________________________________________Here we have a 1974 Fender Precision Bass signed by 'Billy Sheehan in 1992' The body has been de-finished down to a natural wood. It has also been souped up with a chrome pickguard, new knobs, brass nut, and a changed out bridge from the original to a more modern heavy duty Fender fine tuning bass bridge. Souped and set up as a player it has the usual .45-.1.05 bass strings and the adjustable string action is a bit on the low side.I play an original 1959 Fender P bass from August of 59', rosewood slab board, tortise shell guard and a 2 tone sunburst finish. I have had my baby for 40 years now and consider myself a Fender bass specialist as I have sold hundreds of them in the past 50 years mostly vintage.So except for the changed parts I mentioned, this bass is basically original with an untouched clean neck, de-finished body, and those 74' P bass pickups. The pots were changed in 1983.Also, God's truth, my wife Marcia and I met Billy Sheehan back in 94' when we were invited back stage at his show in Atlanta, Georgia. Back then, back in the day, we were attending guitar shows constantly. I recognized the signature because we got him to sign something at his show and it hangs here in the shop 30 years later. Our walls are laced with pictures and autographs of the biggest people in the business. So if your a fan of Billie's, then this all means something.
