This beautiful basket is in excellent PRISTINE condition. Burmese is a rare glass treatment originally made in 1885 by the Mt. Washington Glass Company in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Fenton reproduced the formula thru their Glass chemist Charles W. Goe. Autumn Leaves on Burmese was produced by Fenton in the 70s. The leaves on this basket were hand painted by one of their famed artists. The basket is 7 1/2" tall and nearly 5.5" wide at its widest point. This basket held a special place in our family home; my father was a noted glass artist with Pilgrim; so we have a number of pieces in our collection from neighboring factories.
