Description: A very fine large brass antique Chinese opium lamp with all authentic metal parts and a replacement glass chimney. All parts are removable and can fit into the lamp cap. Parts include a lamp base with vendor hallmark on bottom, an open work vent with four birds on side, a screwed on wick holder, a screwed on wick cap ( a distinct feature in opium lamps to prevent oil spill), an open work supporting disc, a replacement glass chimney which is authentic to this type of lamp and a lamp cap which screws on tightly to the lamp base. A very rare piece with all original parts complete save the glass chimney which is also authentic to this type of lamp.
