Description: This is a lovely and Fine Vintage Roses Flower Gardening Impressionist Still Life Oil Painting on Canvas, depicting gardening shears, several freshly cut red roses, and leaves, portrayed against a charteuse and deep green background. The subject for this still life painting is unique, and perhaps that is what makes it especially great. Signed illegibly in the lower left corner. Perhaps you recognize the artist or their work? This piece likely dates to the 1950's. Approximately 11 3/4 x 14 3/4 inches (including frame.) Actual artwork is approximately 9 x 12 inches. Good condition for age, with some tiny speckles of paint loss to the surface of the canvas, and moderate scuffing and gilding loss to the original period vintage gilded wood frame (please see photos.)
