It also locates targets made of aluminum, brass and lead. The M97-8 features push-button tuning allowing quick and easy maintainance of the optimum sensitivity for easy pinpointing of buried metallic objects. The M97-8 also offers easy storage: just compact the lower stem, twist the search coil 90 degrees, and fold the search coil flat. The M97-8 fits easily into the optional carrying case. The M97-8 offers auto-tune circuitry and a waterproof search coil. This model identifies metallic objects by speaker sound and needle movement. Two sensitivity modes adjust for the depth and size of the object to locate.
