Description: This Fitz and Floyd Safari bread plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, or any other signs of damage (see photos). I can see no utensil marks, and this plate probably was seldom if ever used. The Safari pattern features different animals from Africa, and this bread plate depicts a lion, a zebra, a cheetah, and two other animals, one of which appears to be a species of ape. The images are done in reddish brown on tan. This plate is 6 1/4 inches in diameter and is approximately 1 1/2 inches in height. It is constructed more like a shadow dish than a flat plate, and it is approximately 1 inch deep. This bread plate weighs 1/2 pound, and the shipping weight will be one pound.
