After being sold in 1948 this DC-3 changed hands several times, in 1991 the Grey Eagles (a group of active & retired American Airlines pilots over the age of 50) purchased it and began restoration. After being fully restored the Flagship Knoxville was returned to American Airlines in May 1993 as a contribution to the CR Smith museum located in Fort Worth, Texas. 1/100 Scale Douglas DC-3 – Length:7.75" Wingspan: 11.25" ADULT COLLECTIBLE MODEL - Not intended for children under 14.
