A nice sodalite in Longwave in a stone weighing 2.1 ounces (60 g) and measuring about 2.25 inches X 1.25 inches X 1.00 inch (5.6 cm X 3.0 cm X 2.4 cm). Sodalite glows orange in Longwave UV. There is a blue fluorescence (Nepheline Syenite) which is overstated in the photos – it is not so pronounced in reality. But in contrast with the unknown white mineral on one end and the orange sodalite on the other, the presentation is very nice indeed! The UV Photos are all in LONGWAVE UV, except the last two, which are in MIDWAVE and SHORTWAVE UV respectively. WE BUY OLD FRANKLIN AND STERLING HILL COLLECTIONS, INCLUDING “BASEMENT ROCK BOXES”!
