Neale was the highest scoring pilot in the Flying Tigers - 15 aerial victories; Charlie Bond - the only veteran of the AVG to become an US Air Force General - 8 aerial victories, Dick Rossi - 6 aerial victories, Fritz Wolf - 2 aerial victories, Rode Rodewald - armorer. 2ND SQND - Tex Hill - 11 aerial victories, Buzz "Buster" Keaton - 2 aerial victories, R.C. "Robert" Moss - 4 aerial victories. 3RD SQDN - C.H. "Link" Laughlin - 5 aerial victories, Ken Jernsted - 10 aerial victories. The print commemorates the December 20th, 1941, when the AVG first attacked Japanese bombers over the city of Kunming. The Japanese had never met opposition in the air before. Out of 16 Japanese bombers only 7 made it back to their base. They never returned to bomb Kunming again.
