Description: This is not just a a good painting, it is spectacular. It is so subtle in its modulations of color. It has great impact and could carry a large space but is still soothing and very elegant. It is so much better in person than in photographs. You just can't capture its beauty with a small photo. The frame is ribbed which echoes the linear aspect of the flower petals.I am comparing it to Georgia O'Keefe and she certainly could have been a major artistic influence on Yoshie.It was painted 25 years ago and would compliment a Mid Century Modern environment or a more contemporary modern setting.
