Description: Here we have a beautiful signed book by Vancouver's renowned photographer Fred Herzog. He wandered the streets of Vancouver taking photos of every-day street life. He had the eye of an artist who used his various Cameras instead of brushes to capture moments in time. He started with a Kodak Retina and carried on with his Nikons, Canons, Leicas and Rolleiflex. His palette came through with his choice of mostly color slide film. The moments he captures when he clicks the shutter are unbelievably beautiful. In this book you will see the artist's view of the absolute perfect moment captured on his film of choice. Most of his work displayed in the book is from the 50s to the 70s. I acquired two of these books when I went to view his show at the Equinox Art Gallery. They both went into my library and I am saving one for myself. I included a photo of the two books sitting there with my other Fred Herzog books. The last two pictures are from a book I also bought at the Equinox Gallery at the same time. This book is not for sale. I am displaying the book to show that it corresponds to the wonderful visit I had viewing Herzog's amazing photographic works of art.
