This beautiful French antique clock features intricate Rococo floral curves that exude elegance and sophistication. Crafted from gilt-bronze with a gold antiqued finish, this hanging 'Cartel' ( hanging 19th century ) clock is a true masterpiece that would make a stunning addition to any collection. The clock is powered by an 8-day wind pendulum movement and features a bim-bam chime sequence. The item is from the era of a Renaissance of Louis XV style , during the reigns of Louis XVIII , Charles X and Napoleon III and was manufactured in France in 1860 to 1885, it has been very well-preserved. Its dimensions are 22 inches in height, and 12 inches in width, and 5 inches in depth, with a weight of 8 pounds. This original piece is perfect for collectors and clock enthusiasts alike.
