Description: Our Quad K Ranch Purple White Spot dent corn is grown right here in East Tennessee, zone 7a. We plant blocks for high yield open air pollination. We raise all of our crops organically! These are NON-GMO seeds! As a disclaimer, it is possible the seeds have cross pollinated with other corn varieties due to them being planted nearby. This in turn means you could get some very unique cobs or the same variety ordered when planting. However, we try to ensure pollination is limited to each block via planting times. This particular dent corn is great for corn meal, purple hominy, animal fodder, wild animal forage, decoration and just showing your friends and family some awesome corn! This corn is particularly cool, it throws a curve at the typical purple corn with its occasional white spotted kernels dotted around. Variation in the amount of spotting is random, some cobs have 50%+ while others have less than 5%. They also can throw an occasional yellow kernel. We send extra kernels/seeds with each order to ensure germination for quantity purchased is guaranteed. Each order will contain 1 oz of seed, approximately 100+ seeds.
