Description: We are selling about 30 uniforms/jackets etc., that were part of a collectors estate here in southern New Mexico. We are not experts on military uniforms or insignia, so please study the photos, and ask questions before bidding. We do not have the knowledge to date these uniforms, either. We are assuming some are WW2 period, but some may be Korean War period or after. We will describe each uniform as best as we can. This uniform is wool, Size 36R. It has a 24th Infantry patch and eagle patch on one sleeve, US and Engineers discs on the collars, Two 3rd Engineers Battalion DUI's (marked P in circle (Poellath-German made) on the lapels, a 24th Infantry "Victory" DUI on each shoulder strap (also marked P in circle-Poellath-German made) , and a pin back marksmanship badge (Marked A-212) with Rifle bar. Uniform tag reads: Coat, Mans, Wool Serge, Army Green 44, Size 36R, DeRossi & Son Co., Dated 30 December 1957, Pattern Date 10/17/57, Phila QM Depot, MCTSA 100% wool. Decent condition for its age-has a few moth holes to the right of front breast pocket (see photo). Has a matching pair of pants-Tag says: Statham Garment Corp. 1957 date, 100% wool, etc. They have an area of moth damage on the left side halfway between the knee and pocket, otherwise good. Always glad to combine shipping. If you win multiple items, wait for my invoice before sending your payment so that I can combine shipping. Thanks for bidding!
