Description: Up for sale is this gorgeous Fuzhou stone carving, made by Lin YuanQing. Lin YuanQing （林元慶 1912-1994), a native of Houyu Village, Gushan Town, Fuzhou, studied under Zheng Xianglin (###). He was good at carvings of figures and ancient animals. He especially enjoys carvings of immortal Buddhas riding animals with unique shapes. He joined Shoushan Stone (#Ш5) Carving Production Group in 1955. It measures 7”1/2 tall including stand and 8” long, great piece to add to your asian art collection.
