Description: Fabulous, huge, vintage pair of curtains by G. P. & J Baker.Taipei from 1977.Tails and swags also included. Left and right tails and x3 swags for the middle section.Each curtain measures 220 cm long x 368 cm wide.Medium weight fabric with blanket interlining, but please note the cotton lining has been cut out in the pastSome remedial stitching required along seam edges.In excellent vintage condition with no rips to the fabric. Some age related marks to the curtain edges and scuff / water marks along the bottom edges. (Please see last photo) But any marks etc get lost in the sheer vastness of the curtains!There is a deep ruffle header tape in situ but there are no strings. Originally they had a pinch pleat header with hooks attached as per last photo. But the hooks have been removed.So they do need some altering / repairs to bring them back to their former glory or they could be repurposed into another massive pair of curtains!
