Description: Gardner Denver Sutorbilt Positive Displacement Blower, Model GACHBPA. Serial: S117260. Blower was removed when building was renovated. Was in operation up until day of removal. Has sat approx 2 years. I disassembled, cleaned, checked for any obvious damage, reassembled with new gaskets and bench tested by hand for any rough spots or issues. Turns over nicely by hand and puffs with each revolution. The bearings appear to be basically brand new, and the oil that was drained was almost clear. It had previously been rebuilt/serviced by DW Diesel in auburn NY but cannot verify the date. Case shows no evidence of damage or cracks. Gear drive is in good shape, clean and virtually no wear, may have been replaced when rebuilt, but cannot verify. Lobes are in good shape, there appears to have been moisture in the case when stored, there was rust and some mild pitting, all visible in the pics. Both the case and the lobes cleaned up nicely with conditioning pad and wire wheel. Pics were taken throughout the process to show any issues and give most accurate information. The case has some mild blemishes in the area where the moisture was, but is still smooth and in good condition. Pic of the lobe was taken very close to show surface finish, it is still very smooth and good to use, despite how it looks in the pic. Unit is used, but is in good condition. I believe it is fit to go right to service, but you should also give a look over in case I missed anything. I try to be as thorough as possible. Thank You.
