VA0 and VA2 consoles use different voltage levels, so using the GDEMU in a VA0 or VA2 console will damage/destroy the GDEMU. You can verify that you have the correct version console by looking at the sticker on the bottom of the console. Compatible US Models (NTSC U) Should have a number "1" inside a circle and say "NTSC U". See picture.
