Description: I cut this from a slab I acquired two years ago. 100% genuine Swietenia macrophylla. Quartersawn. Large enough to build a jumbo acoustic. I have a photo of the original slab (if you're interested). The flame on this mahogany is special. Very rare to have flame figure this large. I photographed the two different angles trying to recreate the "shimmering" flame. The show side has a light coat of shellac and taken in reflective incandescent light to show figure. The tap tone is the among the best I've heard. The weight is very light. If you don't agree, simply return it (in new condition, unaltered of course) for a full refund. I'll gladly take it back.
