Description: This beautiful George Steck Parlor Grand Piano is one of our loveliest pianos we have. It was built in 1885 during the height of the lavish Victorian era and is made of beautifully carved Brazilian Rosewood. Unfortunately, during the 1960s this Piano underwent a restoration and the lovely rosewood finish was covered over with Black paint and Gold leaf. Underneath it lies the original finish which can be restored to immaculate condition! George Steck was known for building extremely high quality pianos during this era, and they were quite expensive. Only a wealthy few could afford such a luxury. This piano measures only 6 feet long. The overall appearance and proportions of this piano are very formal and elegant. Note the ornately carved music rack, legs and pedal lyre. Pianos of this caliber are examples of 19th Century craftsmanship at its finest! This piano will be restored to like new condition inside and out, and will be pristine in every way. A matching stool can be included. Computerized player mechanisms can be installed if desired. With a 50% down payment, we can get this started for you! Estimated completion time is 3-6 months. Call us today!!
