GEORGIAN ANTIQUE 18thC ENAMEL & (BOVINE) BONE TRINKET PATCH PILL BOX

Description: Beautiful GEORGIAN ANTIQUE ENAMEL and (BOVINE) BONE PATCH or PILL BOX. In my estimation it dates from around the late 18th Century. But please make up your own mind about this. The box measures approx 1 3/8 inches (36mm) in diameter, by 3/4 inches (20mm) tall, and is made from (bovine bone), with a beautiful enamel panel on the lid. This reads A TOKEN OF LOVE. The lid opens & closes without issue. It is in pretty good, antique condition (with a small chip to the rim and a split in the body where the bone has dried out with age), but no major damage or repairs (see photos). This is a fine example of its type and it would make a great addition to any collection. Please see photos for condition & type. weight approx 16 grams.
