Description: For sale is this miniature pencil and watercolour drawing by the English artist Anthony Devis (1729-1816). It is a pastoral scene with figures meeting on a path. There is a label on the back which describes a provenance by descent from the artist's patron. The small sketch measures about 13 x 10 centimeters and is probably from the artist's sketch book. It is framed in modern gilded wood frame which measures about 32 x 28 cms. The sketch is in excellent condition with no apparent tears or holes. Some very minor wear and tear to the frame. I will be shipping this attractive 18th century watercolor drawing with its glass. Please refer to photos and feel free to ask questions; I usually get back to you quickly! Shipping will be free within the UK. There is a reasonable shipping charge for foreign buyers, but I will consolidate multiple purchases for one low price.
