Description: This is a German 8 day, time and strike mantel clock made by Hamburg American Clock Co.. The case is in nice condition with an early and likely original finish. It’s glossy with alligatoring. There are a few scuffs/scratches, but overall it’s very nice. There are inlays on the base moulding. I don’t see any issues that are worth mentioning specifically. The clock was allowed to run overnight and ran continuously without stopping. The clock chimes when the hands are cycled. It wasn’t tested for accuracy and will probably require adjustments after shipping. The last service is unknown so it’s being sold for restoration. This is a nice little mantel clock and it’s priced to sell so don’t miss it!
