Description: 100HP SIEMENS 1PH7186-3NE30-0CA9 400-430V 60-80KW 5000RPM SPINDLE MOTOR SINE ENCODER This was removed from a large boring mill being retrofit with a Fanuc control. This motor works perfectly. It doesn't have the hours on it for its age (1999) and it was underutilized because the cutting load was light. It was mounted far away from contaminants. The motor never got really warm. It uses a Heidenhain SINE encoder - ERN 1381 - No problem getting one should you need it.I have as of this writing a drive set (INFEED UNIT and SPINDLE DRIVE) available for this motor The label rates the motor at 60KW and also 80KW at what appears to be 40% duty cycle. I currently have the SIEMENS 611 drive that drives this motor and a Siemens power supply that drives it - (needs 380 volt transformer) and would also a need control modules for the drive ($1000 on ebay depending on method of control - there is an analog control module that will let you control it with -10 to 10 volt signal - or may other digital methods available).
