ABOUT THE RECORDIn essence, Mokave is a piano trio, but with a difference. Without the heavy-weight dynamic power that a trap drummer can get from his kit, Velez relies on an endless tonal palette, and the complex subtlety that results from playing with fingers, rather than sticks.
