Description: UK BUYERS ONLY PLEASE This auction is for a Good Allcock's "DEMATIC Mk2" (Made by J.W. Young & Sons and known to collectors the "AMBIDEX MARK 8" Fixed-spool reel, dating from circa 1963. The Allcock's badged Delmatic reel was launched in 1963 with an innovative Delrin plastic spool flyer as a budget-priced Ambidex. Alwyn Attwood in his excellent books states with authority that the Delmatic is the "missing" Mark 8. This is an overall good condition reel, working perfectly. These are great user reels which have stood the test of time. Please study the photos carefully as they form a major part of the description.
