Description: For auction is my Grand Seiko SBGF021. This is a terrific, long-discontinued sports watch from Grand Seiko that combines durability with fantastic craftsmanship. THE GOOD - Gorgeous black "tatami" dial that looks a little brown in direct light- 200m water resistance- Grand Seiko fit and finish- Brand-new battery installed and running perfectly- Independently-adjustable hour hand- Bracelet sized for my 7" wrist and fits a little loosely- Pressure-tested at 100m in 09/2023 -- wasn't pressure-tested after most recent (11/2024) battery change, though- This piece is absurdly legible, even in low light. It's something about the way the markers are faceted, I think THE BAD - No box or papers. - Runs +.2 spd, or +6 seconds per month (which I believe is out of factory spec)- Battery life seems to be around 14 months or so -- I replaced the battery last September, I believe. The end-of-life indicator started in September. I just replaced it in November (while it was still running). - Marks and dings consistent with normal wear, but they're there -- see the pics and let me know if you have any questions- No extra links- No box or papers I love this piece.
