Description: Greco EGF1000 Made in Japan 1980 electric guitar #AL01026 Description Condition: Used This is a 1980 model (manufactured by Fujigen) EGF1000 from Greco's "Super Real Series" equipped with DiMarzio PAFs. The Super Real Series EGF1000 was announced in 1980 and was labeled as the "60's Super Real Standard Model" in the catalog specifications. It has a 2-piece flame maple top, 2-piece mahogany back, a firm-grip mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard with fret edge binding (Brazilian rosewood in the catalog specifications), white mother-of-pearl inlays, 2 Dimarzio PAF pickups, and 1-knob MH-EGSI tuning pegs with thin bushings and nuts. The "Super Real Series" EGF is highly regarded overseas as a Japanese vintage guitar, and its solid sound in the midrange is also appealing. It has a nice look and shows signs of use (discoloration, guitar hanger marks on the veneer next to the headstock, uneven paint on the seams of the body back material, scratches and scuffs on the outer circumference, scuffs and scratches from playing, picking marks, dullness, bits, and rust on metal parts and screws, etc.).
